YorPower supplied a complete multi-generator power solution for a maternity hospital project in Asia.
The order included four canopied diesel generator sets, providing a combined prime power output of 3.5MVA.
The Requirement
The customer required a dependable, high-capacity power solution to support essential operations at the new healthcare facility.
Due to the scale and complexity of the project, company representatives and government officials travelled to YorPower HQ to meet the team and discuss the requirements.
YorPower Generator Solution
YorPower supplied:
- 3 × YTP1000RSC 1000kVA prime-rated generators
- 1 × YTP500RSC 500kVA prime-rated generator
- Battery chargers
- Engine water heaters
Each generator featured a Perkins engine, Leroy Somer alternator and DSE 7320 control panel.
Together, the four generators delivered 3.5MVA of prime power, equivalent to 2.8MW at 0.8 power factor.
Inspection and Delivery
Before dispatch, the generators underwent an independent pre-delivery inspection by Bureau Veritas, helping ensure the equipment met the project’s requirements.
The complete package was prepared for international delivery to Asia using three 40-foot shipping containers.
