The Challenge
In the garment industry, every second counts. Production relies on a continuous, carefully managed process, starting with fabric cutting before moving through sewing, finishing, ironing, poly packing, carton packaging and preparation for export.
At Sohrab Fashion, hundreds of sewing machines operate every day to support a large-scale manufacturing operation. The factory has a daily production capacity of approximately 25,000 to 30,000 T-shirts, 18,000 to 20,000 polo shirts and 15,000 to 18,000 pairs of long trousers.
The site is equipped with 5 cutting machines, 500 advanced sewing machines and 40 ironing machines, all working together to maintain high levels of production efficiency and product quality.
With this level of output, any disruption to the power supply can have a major impact. The factory estimates that a power outage can result in losses of approximately USD 750 per hour, while a full day of disrupted production can lead to losses of around USD 5,500 to 6,000.
