YorPower recently partnered with a leading UK construction company to deliver a comprehensive backup power solution designed to meet their critical system requirements. The project showcased YorPower’s expertise in bespoke generator installation and its commitment to providing tailored power solutions.
The Challenge
The construction company required a reliable backup power solution to support two separate critical systems on-site. These systems demanded backup power to ensure limited downtime, smooth operations and compliance with safety and operational standards. Alongside the generators, the solution needed custom-built components to integrate seamlessly into their existing setup.
The Solution
YorPower supplied 4 x 250kVA generators, 2 x custom fuel tanks and mechanical installation, providing robust and reliable backup power for the two critical supplies. In addition to the generators, YorPower’s in-house team manufactured bespoke components, including:
- Fire valve mountings: These were specifically designed and built to meet stringent fire safety requirements.
- Link boxes: Custom-engineered for seamless connectivity between the power systems, ensuring operational efficiency and safety.
