YorPower Back Blake Angliss for 2026 British GT Championship Campaign

March 10, 2026

YorPower Sponsor Blake Angliss

YorPower are proud to be sponsoring Blake Angliss for the second season running as he returns to the British GT Championship grid in 2026 with Mahiki Racing, competing in a stunning McLaren Artura GT4.

After an impressive 2025 campaign, Blake continues with Mahiki Racing following a season that showcased both his professionalism off track and his pace on it. Initially joining the team as a reserve driver, he quickly became an integral part of the operation behind the scenes before earning promotion to a race seat. Once given the opportunity, Blake made an immediate impact, delivering multiple podium finishes and ending the year on a high.

Now, with valuable experience of both the team and the McLaren Artura GT4, Blake heads into the new season full of confidence and momentum. Paired with a rapid team-mate and backed by a strong team around him, all the signs point towards an exciting and competitive 2026 season.

For YorPower, continuing the partnership with Blake is an excellent fit. As a business that values performance, reliability and ambition, we are delighted to see our brand featured on the McLaren GT4 car as it competes in one of the UK’s premier motorsport championships. With British GT races broadcast on Sky Sports and streamed across YouTube, the partnership also offers fantastic visibility throughout the season.

Speaking about his return to the championship, Blake said:

“I’m delighted to be returning to the British GT Championship grid for the 2026 season with Mahiki Racing. Last year, we ended on a high and it feels only natural to keep the momentum going into a second year together.

A huge thank you to my sponsors Transend UK, YorPower and Trigpoint for their support this year and allowing me to keep working towards my goals. I am confident that I have the ability to be one of the leading drivers on the GT4 grid this season and I’m excited to get out there and prove it.”

YorPower Managing Director Stephen Peal added:

“We are delighted to continue our support of Blake Angliss for the 2026 season. Blake showed tremendous commitment, professionalism and talent throughout last year, and it was fantastic to see him convert that hard work into strong results on the track.

At YorPower, we are passionate about backing ambitious people and high-performance engineering, so this partnership is a natural fit for us. We’re proud to see the YorPower brand on the McLaren Artura GT4 and we look forward to following Blake and Mahiki Racing throughout what promises to be an exciting season.”

Everyone at YorPower wishes Blake and Mahiki Racing the very best for the season ahead, and we look forward to cheering them on as they take on the British GT Championship in 2026.
