Service Supply and Delivery of a 500kVA Generator
Background
An electrical company in Pakistan required a reliable power solution to ensure uninterrupted operations. Solution Provided
To address the client’s requirements, we supplied and delivered a 500kVA generator model YTP500RSC, manufactured by YorPower. This generator was selected for its robustness, high efficiency, and reliability, making it an ideal power backup solution for large-scale industrial applications.
Key Components of the Generator:
Engine: The generator was equipped with a 2506A-E15TAG2 Perkins engine. Known for its durability and performance, this engine provides the necessary power output while ensuring fuel efficiency.
Alternator: A Leroy Somer alternator was integrated into the generator. Leroy Somer alternators are recognised for their reliability and excellent performance, ensuring stable power delivery.
Control Panel: The generator featured a DSE7320 control panel, offering advanced control and monitoring capabilities. This control panel allows for seamless operation and management of the generator, enhancing overall performance and safety.
Implementation
The generator was supplied and delivered in a 40 ft container, which was shipped to Karachi Port, Pakistan.
