Background
YorPower has proudly partnered with a Northern Police Force for over a decade, supporting their backup power needs across multiple locations. As part of this ongoing relationship, we recently supplied and installed a new 3kVA UPS system to protect critical IT infrastructure at one of their police stations.
Project Scope
The requirement was to provide reliable power backup for a server CAB within the police station. After a detailed site assessment and load analysis, our engineers recommended the YP-Sustain 3kVA UPS with two external battery packs to ensure optimal performance and backup runtime.
Implementation
- Initial Enquiry: Friday 28th March
- Installation & Commissioning: Completed by the following Friday – 4th April
The entire process—from enquiry to full commissioning—was completed in just one week, thanks to our streamlined operations and experienced UPS installation team.
Outcome
The installed UPS now provides continuous backup power to the server cabinet, ensuring uninterrupted operation in the event of a mains failure.
