Tailored UPS Packages
Our tailored UPS Service & Maintenance Packages are built around your site, load requirements, and operational risk—so you get the right level of cover without paying for what you don’t need.
For example, your package could include:
Planned preventative maintenance visits (e.g., quarterly, bi-annual, or annual)
Full system health checks and performance testing

Load Bank Testing
Load bank testing is an increasingly popular add-on, with many customers now requesting it alongside their regular UPS servicing — and in some cases as a stand-alone visit — to gain extra confidence in real-world performance.
By applying a controlled load, we can confirm the UPS will carry your critical systems as expected, verify runtime, and check stability, alarms, and bypass operation under demand. It’s also an effective way to uncover issues that routine checks may not reveal
24/7 Emergency Callout
Our 24/7 UPS emergency callout service gives you rapid support when you need it most — whether it’s an alarm, fault, or unexpected loss of protection.
Many customers add this on top of routine maintenance for extra peace of mind, while others use it as a stand-alone response service.
Our engineers will diagnose the issue quickly, carry out safe remedial work where possible, and provide clear reporting to get you back to full resilience fast.
UPS Rental
YorPower’s UPS rental service provides a fast, flexible way to protect your critical loads—whether you need temporary cover during maintenance, a short-term solution for an event or project, or an immediate replacement following a fault.

Depending on the size of the UPS and number of accessible batteries that can be tested, a service can be anything between 30 minutes to 6 hours.

A UPS should have a minimum of one service visit per annum but it is recommended by YorPower that any UPS 10kva and above has 2 visits per annum.

How do you properly take care of a UPS?
Regular maintenance visits from your service provider, changing parts at recommended service intervals (capacitors, fans and batteries), good room temperatures, plenty of ventilation around the UPS and not exceeding the load.

Fully power down the UPS and ensure the load is powered via the bypass line or from other parallel units.
Remove all side panels from the unit.

Check that all connections inside the UPS are tight.
